Colorado Rookie

Sooo....I've done it. Here I am, in Colorado. My dear sweet cousin Cindi has graciously allowed me to stay with her while I gain my footing here in my new hometown. Im so excited to be here! It reminds me a lot of Utah, but it seems to be bigger and greener. AND LESS SNOW! That's always a plus! My one big regret is leaving behind my tini! (Tini is my nephew. His name is Jake. He was two in October of 08, and I've babysat him almost every Saturday since he was 6 mos old! I miss him already!) It was hard leaving behind life as I knew it, but at the same time it was incredibly easy. I guess because it didn't feel like much of a life! Tho I had a job that was sustaining my lifestyle, and a circle of friends that loved me, I simply felt unfulfilled. And so, Colorado! I love my family here, and Im pretty sure they love me almost as much! ;) I have enrolled in cosmotology school at International Salon and Spa Academy, and I start on Tuesday! I've always wanted to attend beauty school, and I've finally got my chance! Eeek! I am hoping this will be a step forward for me......(especially since I am now carrying a ridiculously heavy loan.) Yikes! But I feel like this is a good, solid choice for my future. Oh! I've got pix!
